CIUDAD DE MÉXICO, 10 de enero 2018.- La compañía discográfica de la banda británica Radiohead, Warner/Chappell, negó que haya interpuesto una demanda por supuesto plagio contra la cantante estadunidense Lana Del Rey, tal como había afirmado la artista vía Twitter.
“Como editores de la música de Radiohead, es cierto que hemos establecido un diálogo desde agosto del año pasado con los representantes de Lana Del Rey”, señaló un portavoz de la compañía.
A través de un comunicado publicado por la revista Rolling Stone, el vocero destacó que “no se ha abierto ningún proceso legal” contra la cantante.
Con todo, esa fuente sostiene que “está claro” que hay versos de “Get Free” -uno de los temas del último álbum de Lana Del Rey, “Lust For Free”- que “utilizan elementos musicales” que se repiten en “Creep”, tema que Radiohead publicó como sencillo en 1992.

De manera paradójica, el propio grupo británico fue acusado en su día de plagio por el parecido de “Creep” con “The Air That I Breathe”, de The Hollies, compuesta en 1974 por Albert Hammond y Mike Hazlewood.
