CIUDAD DE MÉXICO, 5 de enero (AlMomentoMX).- El ex gobernador de Quintana Roo, Roberto Borge, fue trasladado al Centro Federal de Readaptación Social (Cefereso) número 16, en Ayala, Morelos, luego de que un juez de control le dictó auto de vinculación a proceso por el delito de operaciones con recursos de procedencia ilícita y dictó prisión preventiva justificada.
Alrededor de las 09:10 horas de este viernes, el ex mandatario salió del Centro de Justicia Penal Federal, en Nezahualcóyotl, Estado de México, hacia Morelos en medio de un fuerte operativo de seguridad.
“La PGR obtuvo prisión preventiva justificada en contra de Roberto “N” en el Cefereso 16, medida cautelar dictada por el Juez de Control del Centro de Justicia Penal Federal con sede en Nezahualcóyotl”, informó la PGR en Twitter.
Tras 14 horas de audiencia, el juez de control Artemio Zúñiga vinculó a proceso al ex gobernador de Quintana Roo por su probable participación en calidad de coautor de operaciones con recursos de procedencia ilícita en la modalidad de ocultamiento de bienes, resultado de una actividad ilegal.
Además, el juzgador federal determinó decretar la medida cautelar de prisión preventiva justificada por riesgo de fuga. El ex mandatario fue trasladado al Cefereso de Morelos, toda vez que el juez ordenó que Borge sea atendido por una “profunda depresión y ansiedad”, así como de problemas renales.
Durante la audiencia, los fiscales de la PGR ofrecieron 89 datos de prueba y lo acusaron de ocasionar un quebranto al erario de más de 900 millones de pesos, mediante la enajenación de 22 terrenos que se vendieron a un precio hasta 80 por ciento menor a su valor real comercial a familiares y personas de confianza.
Asimismo, el juez concedió un plazo de seis meses a la Procuraduría General de la República para cerrar la investigación complementaria contra el exgobernador de Quintana Roo por el delito de lavado de dinero.
El ex gobernador arribó este jueves a la Ciudad de México para hacer frente a las acusaciones de corrupción, tras ser extraditado desde Panamá, donde fue detenido en junio del año pasado. Entre los delitos que se le imputan están lavado de dinero, peculado y desempeño irregular de la función pública.
