CIUDAD DE MÉXICO.— La Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) informó que la aplicación del examen de selección del primer proceso 2020 se suspende por la contingencia sanitaria por Covid-19.
A través de un comunicado, la UAM indicó que debido a que las autoridades extendieron el periodo de la Jornada Nacional de Sana Distancia hasta el 30 de mayo, se pospone la aplicación del examen que inicialmente estaba programado para los días 23 y 24 de mayo.
“Una vez que existan las condiciones adecuadas, se determinarán las nuevas fechas de aplicación del examen. Solicitamos a los interesados que estén al pendiente de los avisos en las plataformas institucionales”, señaló.

Los comprobantes de registro son válidos y en su momento se podrán actualizar con las nuevas fechas. Si hay dudas al respecto, la casa de estudios dispuso de un correo electrónico y un teléfono (solo vía WhatsApp) para solucionarlos: admision@correo.uam.mx y 55 37 44 70 00.
“La UAM seguirá atenta a las disposiciones que vayan surgiendo, priorizando la protección, la seguridad y el bienestar“, concluyó.
Por otra parte, la UAM iniciará clases en modalidad remota a partir del 11 de mayo después de que el Colegio Académico aprobó, en su sesión urgente, el nuevo calendario escolar. Las evaluaciones de recuperación y la entrega de actas de recuperación para el trimestre 19-O serán el 4, 6 y 7 de mayo, también en la modalidad remota.
De acuerdo con estas disposiciones, el trimestre 20-I comenzará el 11 de mayo y concluirá el 17 de julio del presente año, considerando 53 días de clases, mientras que el trimestre 20-P empezará el 31 de agosto para finalizar el 23 de noviembre de 2020.
