WASHINGTON, 22 de junio (AlMomentoMX).- El presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, ordenó regresar a su país de origen a todos los migrantes que sean detenidos en redadas del Servicio de Inmigración y Control de Aduanas (ICE, por sus siglas en inglés), que darán inicio a partir del 23 de junio en distintos estados de ese país.
Se estima que sean alrededor de 2 mil familias de migrantes repatriados. Dichos operativos se llevarán a cabo en diferentes estados de Estados Unidos, principalmente en Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Ángeles, Nueva York, y San Francisco.
La redas se dirigirán a personas a las que jueces federales han emitido órdenes de deportación definitivas y que aún permanecen en el país.
En su cuenta de Twitter, el mandatario estadounidense afirmó que ya ha sido dada la orden para que dichas personas sean deportadas, pues “han escapado de la ley y han escapado de las cortes. Estas personas se supone que deberían regresar a su país de origen. Rompieron la ley al ingresar al país (EU) y ahora al quedarse”.
